Joshunda Sanders is the author of the novel inspired by the Six Triple Eight & the Black domestic workers who survived the indignities of the Bronx Slave Market, Women of the Post (Park Row, 2023) a 2024 Gotham Book Prize finalist, and six other books. She has been publishing book criticism since 1999 and her book reviews have appeared in numerous print and digital publications including O, The Oprah Magazine, the Boston Globe, The New York Times, TIME Magazine and many other publications. She lives in The Bronx, her hometown.
