Thousands of Haitian and Syrian immigrants are set to lose their Temporary Protected Status. The upheaval is the result of last month’s U.S. Supreme Court decision allowing the Trump administration to end the legal protection for those fleeing violence and natural disasters in their homelands. Over 350,000 Haitian immigrants and 6,000 Syrians are impacted.
